Abstract: The study investigated the influence a family structure and setting on sexual behavior in- school, adolecents in Southwest N1geria. The study was a desciptiue research of the survey type. The population was all senior secondary school students in the six ștates of the Southwest geo-poîiõcal zone of Nigeńa. A sampìe of l350 in-school adolescents was selected through multistage sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire which was validated by the researchers. Two hypotheses were prostulated and tested aŁ 0.05 level of significance. Data generated were analyzed usİng Analysis Of Variance ANOVA) ond t-test analysis. Results of the or analyses revealed that family structure of adolescents significantly influenced their sexual behaviour. Based on the findings, it is recommended that both parents should live together for proper upbringing and monitoring of their children.
