Design And Construction Of An Intelligent Traffic Control System

Abstract

One of the major problems encountered in rural and urban communities is that of traffic congestion and accidents at blind spots on the road, Several traffic control systems have been designed but in most cases, it is targeted towards road intersections, T-junctions and roundabouts, whereas congestions and accidents on road blind spots are on the rise. This project, an intelligent traffic control system is aimed at controlling the traffic at such points. The system function is based on three variables; Distance, Number of vehicles and Time.
