Abstract: THIS REPORT PRESENTS THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A GSM BASED STREET LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM. THIS SYSTEM ENABLES THE USER TO SWITCH ON/OFF STREET LIGHTS AUTOMATICALLY AT THE REQUIRED TIME (SWITCHED OFF, DURING THE DAY AND SWITCHED ON, AT NIGHT) AND ALSO CONTROL THE STREET LIGHTS THROUGH GLOBAL SYSTEM FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION (GSM)
