Abstract: | Neonatal sepsis is a systemic infection of neonates which causes high mortality rates in newborns. It is classified into two stages which is the early and late-onset characterized by clinical features that vary and non-specific making blood culture the gold standard of diagnosing neonatal sepsis. |
