Abstract: The conventional method of the design of reinforced concrete structures commonly used in Nigeria is BS 8110 method. This project shows a comparative study of BS 8110 and Eurocode 2 for the design of reinforced concrete elements of a building with the aim of determining which of the two codes provides the most economic design is carried out using manual calculations.
